Cancellation Policy

Please read the points below carefully for any cancellations.

The policies mentioned here are in reference to the time slots selected by the user during the checkout process on www.wimbiscakes.com website.

Orders are processed based on the selected time slots, and cancellation requests are accepted accordingly. Please refer to the following conditions:


Cancellation Conditions

  • If the cancellation request is received more than 24 hours before the start of the selected time slot:
    • 10% of the order value will be charged as cancellation fees.
    • 90% of the order value will be refunded to the original payment method.
    • 💡 Note: A 100% refund can be requested to the Wimbis Wallet where the cancellation charges will be waived off.
  • If the cancellation request is received between 12 to 24 hours before the start of the selected time slot:
    • 20% of the order value will be deducted as cancellation charges.
    • 80% of the order value will be refunded to the original payment method.
    • 💡 Note: A 100% refund can be requested to the Wimbis Wallet where the cancellation charges will be waived off.
  • If the cancellation request is received within 12 hours of the selected time slot:
    • 100% of the order value will be deducted as cancellation charges.
    • No refund will be provided to the bank account or the Wimbis Wallet.

Important Notes

  • Refunds to the Wimbis Wallet or original payment method can only be initiated at the discretion of the company, depending on the reason for cancellation. Circumstances such as unfortunate events, natural calamities, or unavoidable situations will be considered.
  • No claims for refunds will be entertained to override the above-mentioned clauses.

Orders That Cannot Be Cancelled

No cancellation requests will be accepted for the following categories:

  • Same-day delivery orders:
    • If the order date and delivery date are the same, cancellations will not be accepted.
    • If the order is cancelled or the recipient does not accept the delivery, no refund will be processed.
  • Same-day midnight delivery orders:
    • Orders placed for midnight delivery (12:00 AM) on the same day cannot be cancelled.
  • Special occasion orders:
    • Orders placed for special occasions like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Diwali, New Year, etc., cannot be cancelled, and no refunds will be initiated.

Same-Day Orders Policy

We allow users to select the same-day delivery option while placing an order. However, we make an attempt to fulfil same-day orders but do not guarantee delivery on the same date.

We will process same-day delivery orders within 24 hours of the requested date and time slot.

  • Same-day day and evening delivery:
    • Wimbis Cakes accepts same-day orders for day and evening time slots until 5 PM.
    • It is an attempt to deliver on the same date, but not a guaranteed promise, although we make 100% effort to fulfill the order.
  • Same-day midnight delivery:
    • Wimbis Cakes accepts same-day midnight (00:00) delivery orders until 7 PM.
    • It is an attempt to deliver on the same date, but not a guaranteed promise.
  • Courier product orders:
    • Orders for courier products cannot be cancelled after acknowledgment by our team.
    • The selected delivery date for courier products is only tentative, as the final delivery depends on the courier/logistics partners.
    • Courier products are usually dispatched within 2 days of order placement, but the time may vary depending on the nature of the product and its preparation.

Additional Terms

  • For same-day orders, efforts will be made to deliver on the requested date and time slot. However, delays due to unforeseen circumstances, logistics issues, or natural calamities may extend the delivery by 52 hours beyond the requested time.
  • No refunds will be processed for such delays.
